Prototype Pengatur Suhu Pada Penyimpanan Sementara Ayam Broiler Berbasis Internet Of Things (Iot)
ABSTRACT
The internet of things (IoT) or the internet for everything has become a
separate field of research since the development of internet technology and other
communication media, with the internet of things as one that allows humans to
easily interact with all equipment connected to the internet network. With the
development of current technology, environmental monitoring has also used the
internet of things, including monitoring of chicken warehouses. If the chicken
warehouse usually regulates the temperature manually. In this study, monitoring
the chicken warehouse with the internet of things concept will make it easier for
chicken warehouse owners to monitor the temperature in the chicken barn. The
temperature monitoring system in the chicken warehouse will use the DHT11
Temperature & Humidity sensor as input, NodeMCU ESP8266 as a
microcontroller that has embedded the Espressif Smart Connectivity Platform
(ESP) chip as a WI-FI module to connect Arduino to the internet, the IoT platform
uses ThingSpeak to display monitoring results. temperature in the form of graphs
and as a chicken warehouse database. ThingSpeak is also useful for connecting
between prototypes and android applications. The fan is used as a temperature
control output in the chicken barn. The android application will display the
results of temperature monitoring and status on the fan in numbers or
temperature scales. A notification will appear when the temperature exceeds the
chicken's comfort zone.
