Hubungan Etos Kerja Dan Iklim Organisasi Terhadap Kinerja Guru SMAN Kecamatan Pujud Kabupaten Rokan Hilir
This study aims to analyze the effect of work ethic and organizational climate on the performance of SMAN teachers in Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency. The background of the problem in this research is that teachers do not have optimal teacher performance. There are still many teachers who carry out their duties and their performance is not in accordance with the tasks given. The condition of the performance that has not been optimal, in this study, was analyzed by connecting the concept of work ethic and organizational climate. This work ethic is needed so that teachers can carry out their duties properly in accordance with the rules to achieve educational goals. The better the work ethic of the teacher in carrying out his duties, the better the performance of the teacher. In addition to work ethic, another factor that affects teacher performance is the organizational climate. Organizational climate is a set of characteristics of the work environment, which are assessed directly or indirectly by teachers who are considered to be the main force in influencing teacher behavior. This illustrates that organizational climate as a condition or condition in a series that directly or indirectly, consciously or unconsciously can affect teachers.
Quantitative type, sample 79 people and. Data were collected by using a questionnaire to determine five choices and then the data were analyzed using descriptive and inferential statistics. The results of the study found a significant effect of work ethic on teacher performance and obtained a significant influence of organizational climate on teacher performance. In addition, there is a significant influence of work ethic and organizational climate on the performance of SMAN teachers in Pujud District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This finding concludes that the better the work ethic and organizational climate, the better the teacher's performance. This research is expected to be useful for improving the performance of teachers with work ethic and organizational climate in carrying out their obligations when carrying out learning activities and fostering students in schools.
