Acceptance of new students is a very important annual activity in schools, if there is no acceptance, the school will not get students who determine the teaching and learning process to achieve the school's vision and mission, achieve national education goals. Acceptance of students is related to the use of the basics of management, therefore schools must manage it properly and planned. Schools must prepare appropriate strategies, so that they can attract students as school inputs Acceptance of students at the Indonesian Creative School (ICS) is different from other public schools and private schools in Pekanbaru City. Indonesian Creative School does not use a zoning system, aspiration, achievement and transfer of parents and also a quota per class. The admission of new students to Indonesian Creative School (ICS) is carried out based on Permendikbud 31 of 2014 concerning Cooperation in Education Organizers and Management by Foreign Educational Institutions with Indonesian Educational Institutions. Therefore, the authors are interested in researching the management of new student admissions at the Indonesian Creative School (ICS). This qualitative research is described based on the management functions proposed by management expert Luther Gullick (2001), namely: planning, organizing, staffing, directing, coordinating, reporting, and budgeting functions. The focus and sub-focus of the research is how to plan (planning), organizing (organizing), staffing (compiling), directing (directing), coordinating (coordinating), reporting (reporting), and budgeting (budgeting). The data collection technique in qualitative (naturalistic) research is to collect descriptive data from planning to budgeting carried out in a "snow-ball" manner from one information to another that is more competent to obtain accurate information. The technique used is documentation, observation, and interviews. The data analysis technique starts from the beginning of the research process until it is finished through data reduction, presentation and drawing conclusions/verification. The data validity technique in the study was examined based on four criteria, namely; the degree of trust, transferability, and certainty, using techniques, including; prolonging researcher attendance, persistence of observation, peer checking and triangulation. To strengthen the data, the authors did member checking by bringing back the research results to the informants to ensure that there were no data interpretation errors. principal which consists of forming an admissions committee for new students, determining admission requirements, preparing written and motor tests for kindergarten and elementary school and written tests observation, and interviews for junior high schools, carrying out screening through written and oral tests, holding announcements of acceptance and re-registration of prospective students who were accepted, and it was proven that the planning was carried out very well. other staff such as security, public relations, and also cleaning personnel and looks very well organized organization. Staffing or placement of committee personnel based on competence and suitability and functions are carried out very well. Directing, namely giving instructions, orders, instructions carried out in every stage starting from top management and carried out very well. Reporting or reporting on the acceptance of new Indonesian Creative School (ICS) students is carried out officially and unofficially and is carried out very well. Budgeting or budgeting is planned at every departmental level, the one who holds the money is the treasurer of the committee and the source of funds is only from the financial part of the foundation is carried out very well.
