Implementasi Gerakan Literasi Sekolah Di SMK Labor Binaan Fkip Unri Pekambaru

This research aims to: (1) know the implementation of the school literacy
movement (GLS) following Permendikbud 23/2015 review on planning,
implementation on habituation, development, and learning; (2) know the
inhibitory and supporting factors that educators face in implementing the school
literacy movement. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data
collection techniques use document review that is important evidence in policy
implementation, observation, and interviews. Informant/subject in these study
elements in the school that can be used as a source of data, in this case, SMK
Labor built by FKIP UNRI Pekanbaru.
The results showed the implementation of the school literacy movement
following Permendikbud 23/2015 policy which included: (1) planning of school
literacy movement by educators which includes: preparation by the literacy team,
implementation of school literacy movement by literacy team, evaluation, and
interpreting school literacy movement, and reports by literacy teams have been
carried out very well. (2) implementation procedures by the literacy team that
include: aspects at the habituation stage, development aspects, and learning
aspects; this school literacy movement program has been implemented very well
where every aspect has been implemented by the literacy team; (3) Supporting
factors and inhibiting the school literacy movement. Supporting factors include in
addition to the Supporting of the principal of course the availability of
infrastructure facilities that are very complete and assistance from donator.
Inhibiting factors include teachers not giving examples of reading habits,
students' boredom in reading because students do not have the same interest in
school literacy movement programs, reading culture is only encouraged in the
school environment.
The conclusion that can be taken is the implementation of the school
literacy movement in SMK Labor Built by FKIP UNRI Pekanbaru is optimal. In
addition, there needs to be consistency in the school literacy movement program
optimally following Permendikbud 23/2015 to grow student ethics.
