Faktor-Faktor Yang Mempengaruhi Penggunaan Smartphone Pada Petani Padi Sawah Di Kota Padang sidimpuan Provinsi Sumatera Utara

ABSTRACT
The use of smartphones by farmers in developing business in agricultural sector is
needed in accessing agricultural information. Most farmers have used smartphones as a
medium of information, education and entertainment. To find out the factors that
influence the use of smartphones using a technology acceptance model. This study aims
to (1) Determine the characteristics of farmers (2) To determine the access and function
of use smartphone (3) To determine the technology acceptance model of use
smartphone. The data used are primary and secondary data, processed using descriptive
analysis, likert scale and partial least square (PLS). The results of this study are (1) The
characteristics of farmers, ownership of the smartphone, gender, age, education, land
area, experience, income, production, duration, quota, smartphone shop, family support,
(2) Access and function as a medium of information and entertainment is quite high, as
a medium of education is low and (3) The perceived of easy of use is significant to the
perceived of usefulness, the perceived easy of use is significant to the attitude, the
attitude is significant to the behavior itention, behavioral intention significant to the
actual of use, the factors affecting significant to the perceived of usefulness, the factors
affecting significant to the perceived easy of use the factors affecting significant to the
attitude, the factors affecting significant to the actual of use and behavioral intention
significant to the actual of use.
