Analisis Ekonomi Rumah Tangga Petani Jeruk Siam (Citrus Nobilis) Di Kecamatan Kuok Kabupaten Kampar
ABSTRACT
This study aims to examine the economic conditions of citrus farmer households
in Kuok District, Kampar Regency based on the outpouring of working time, total
household income and total household expenditure of Siamese orange farmers.
The research was carried out from March to April 2020 in Kuok District, Kampar
Regency. The study used direct interviews with Siamese orange farmers with the
number of respondents being 72 Siamese citrus farmer households taken by
accident from two villages, namely Kuok Village and four Balai. The data used in
this study are primary data and secondary data obtained from the Kuok subdistrict
office, the Kuok village office and four halls. The data were analyzed
descriptively and presented in tabular form, and used econometric model
formulation and analyzed using the 2SLS (two stage least square) method to
estimate the model in the form of simultaneous equations using the SPSS V.23
program. The results of this study indicate that farmer households produce an
output of Siamese oranges of 1084,889 kg per year with a land area of 3194.4 m2
per year. The contribution of the husband's work in farming Siamese oranges has
the largest percentage compared to other household members. The income earned
from within the farm is greater than the income earned from outside the farm.
Most farming households allocate their income for non-food consumption.
Factors that influence the household workload of Siamese orange farmers are the
outpouring of work on other and non-farming farms, labor costs outside the
family, total expenditure, age, education level and income. Based on elasticity, the
responsive variables affecting the workload are age and education level, while
there is no responsive variable affecting consumption.
