Pengembangan Alat Peraga Bandul Matematis Menggunakan Arduino Uno Sebagai Media Pembelajaran Fisika Untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa
The limitations of practical tools make it difficult for teachers to explain the
concept of harmonic motion. The measurement of harmonic motion parameters in
the experiment is still done manually. Several sets of harmonic motion
experiments that have been developed are still limited in recording the vibration
time. The measurement of the vibration time with a stopwatch causes the
measurement data to have a fairly low accuracy and precision. Therefore, it is
necessary to develop a harmonic motion prop in the form of a pendulum swing to
produce automatic data with good accuracy and precision. The material for
harmonic motion itself is a vibration concept that discusses the value of frequency
or period that depends on the value of the length of the rope swing and the
acceleration of gravity. Ease of understanding the concept of harmonic motion is
one of them by using visual aids in the learning process. Learning with teaching
aids means experimenting activities. Experimenting activities are fun activities
that can motivate students to learn. Therefore, the research was conducted to
develop an Arduino-based simple pendulum swing prop that can increase
students' learning motivation on harmonic motion material.
The research method refers to the 4-D model. The instruments used
consisted of expert validation sheets, assessment of teacher and student responses
to teaching aids equipped with practicum modules, and pretest-posttest motivation
questionnaires from the ARCS aspect. The research data were analyzed by
descriptive statistics and inferential statistics. The average results of the
validation scores of teaching aids and modules are 3.74 and 3.77 are in the valid
category. The average score of the teacher's assessment of teaching aids and
modules is 3.77 and 3.74 is in the very high category. Meanwhile, the average
score of student responses to teaching aids and their modules resulted in the same
value of 3.83 which was in the very high category. The results of inferential data
analysis through the paired sample t-test test obtained the value of sig p = 0.000
