Analisis Produktivitas Penggunaan Lahan Gambut Untuk Agroforestri Berbasis Kelapa-Lebah Kelulut: Studi Kasus Di Desa Tanjung Sari, Kecamatan Tebing Tinggi Timur, Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti
ABSTRACT
The peat land cultivated in Tanjung Sari Village has low productivity so that the
community continues to expand land clearing in the peat swamp forest. To reduce
community pressure on forests, it is necessary to intensify plantation land through
the coconut-stingless bee (Tetrigona apicalis) agroforestry system. The purpose of
this study were (1) to determine the productivity of the honey stingless bee in the
form of the production volume of honey bee kelulut/colony/per unit time. (2)
knowing the productivity of coconut and other crops in the form of coconut and
other crops production/hectare/year. (3) determine the factors that affect honey
production/bee colony. This study used a quantitative approach, data was
collected through interviews with 20 respondents and 7 expert respondents who
had long applied coconut-stingless bee agroforestry. Production data analysis is
presented in tabulation and factor data using AHP (Analitycal Hierarchy Process)
with the help of Expert Choice Software Version 11. The results showed (1) the
average annual honey production/colony of stingless bees in Tanjung Sari Village
in the coconut-kelulut agroforestry system was 1.79 liters. (2) Crop yields/
hectare/year in the coconut-kelulut agroforestry system in Tanjung Sari Village
are 2,844.94 coconuts, 1,446.96 kg of betel nut, and 5,200 kg of rubber. (3) The
factors at the criterion level that most dominantly affect the production of honey
stingless bee in agroforestry systems are weather (0,556), biophysical (0,244)
socio-economic (0.194). Factors at the sub-criteria level in succession from the
most dominant are rainfall (0,228), light intensity (0,202), air temperature (0,128),
source of resin (0,089), human resources (0,085), feed (0,084), disturbance pests
(0,071), capital (0,064), technology (0,048).
