Diskriminasi Pada Anak Berkebutuhan Khusus Di Sd Negeri 095 Pekanbaru
This research aims to analyze discrimination against Children with Special Needs (ABK) and teachers' efforts to prevent discrimination at SD Negeri 095 Pekanbaru. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques through in-depth interviews and documentation studies. The research informants consisted of the school principal, two teachers, and two parents of ABK, who were selected using techniques purposive sampling And incidental sampling. Data were analyzed using Gordon Allport's theory of discrimination. The research results show that there is a form of subtle discrimination that is in accordance with the initial stages of Allport's theory, namely antilocution And avoidance. Triangulation with parents revealed a more real social exclusion than appeared on the surface. Efforts to prevent discrimination are carried out through a comprehensive approach which includes instilling inclusive values, creating a supportive learning environment, and developing an adaptive problem handling system. This research recommends the development of a special mentoring program for self-isolating ABK and the establishment of a collaborative forum between parents of ABK and parents of regular students to support the success of inclusive education.
