Analisis Keberlanjutan Usahatani Bayam Hijau Di Kelurahan Maharatu Kecamatan Marpoyan Damai Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Maharatu Village is one of the central areas of green spinach production in Pekanbaru City. However, various challenges such as non-own land, fluctuating selling prices, use of fertilizers and pesticides that are not in accordance with recommendations and extension services that are not carried out intensively can threaten the sustainability of this farming business. This study aims to determine and analyze the sustainability status of farming businesses, and identify sensitive attributes of green spinach farming businesses. This study used a survey method with a sample of 50 respondents selected using random sampling techniques. Data collection was carried out using a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out using the multidimensional scaling (MDS) method with RAP-Spinach software. The sustainability status of green spinach farming businesses in Maharatu Village is considered quite sustainable with an index value of 51.16. The economic dimension has a fairly sustainable status with an index value of 55.07, the ecological dimension has a fairly sustainable status with an index value of 66.79 and the social dimension has a less sustainable status with an index value of 31.62. The sensitive attribute in the economic dimension is land ownership status. The sensitive attribute in the ecological dimension is the level of fertilizer use. Then, the sensitive attribute in the social dimension is participation in farmer groups.
