Struktur Jaringan Usus Dan Ginjal Ikan Mas (Cyprinus Carpio) Yang Dipelihara Pada Media Bersalinitas Dan Diberi Pakan Yang Diperkaya Tepung Daun Jambu Biji (Psidium Guajava)
Carp reared in salinity media experience changes in the osmoregulatory system that can have an impact on organ performance, especially the intestines and kidneys. One of the efforts to increase the immune system of fish is by giving natural immunostimulants such as guava leaf flour. This research was conducted in August-October 2024 at the Biotechnology Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Riau University. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of providing immunostimulants in the form of feed enriched with guava leaf flour (Psidium guajava) on the intestinal and kidney structure of carp in dealing with attacks by Aeromonas hydrophila bacteria. The method used in this study was an experimental method with a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) involving 5 treatments and 3 replicates. The results showed that the structure of goldfish intestinal tissue in all treatments was in normal condition with neat villi and spherical/oval goblet cells. However, several abnormalities such as inflammation, hemorrhage, and necrosis were found in the kidney tissue, including in fish fed guava leaf meal. This indicates that the salinity factor is more influential on kidney damage than the effect of guava leaf meal feeding. The best dose of guava leaf meal was 15 g / kg feed (P2) with fish survival rate reaching 83.33%-93.33%. Water quality obtained such as temperature ranging from 28-31oC, DO 3.7-7.4 mg/L, and pH 5.5-7.
