Dinamika Sistem Fput-α Dengan Eksitasi Mode Ganda
This final project examines the dynamics of the Fermi-Pasta-Ulam-Tsingou-α (FPUT-α) system, focusing on double-mode excitations and the equipartition of energy phenomenon. Through numerical simulations, it is investigated how variations in initial energy and excitation mode combinations influence energy distribution among modes. The results show that at low energy levels, energy remains unevenly distributed despite different mode combinations being exci- ted. As the initial energy increases, energy becomes more evenly distributed, particularly for the combinations of modes 1 and 2 and modes 1 and 3. In certain configurations, such as the excitation of modes 1 and 4 with sufficiently high energy, full equipartition is achieved. These findings indicate that both the magnitude of initial energy and the choice of excitation modes play a crucial role in determining whether equipartition of energy can occur in the FPUT-α system.
