Strategi Komunikasi Dinas Pariwisata Dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Kampar Dalam Mempromosikan Objek Wisata Tepian Mahligai

Tepian Mahligai destinastion is one of popular destination for tourist that
from Kampar, and also from out of Kampar Regency.Tepian Mahligai location is
at XIII Koto Kampar, it means be on the border of Riau Province and West
Sumatera Province.This research aims to determine the implementation of
communicators in promoting Tepian Mahligai and solutions to the obstacles that
occur, to find out the planning communication strategy in suggesting the tourist
attraction of Tepian Mahligai, and to find out the communication strategy of the
audience in visiting the tourist attraction of Tepian Mahligai.
This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with the presentation of
data obtained from observations, documentation and interviews with research
subjects in this study. The supporting research subjects were determined by
purposive method, while the research subjects were the Head of the Promotion
Division of the Tourism Office and. The data analysis technique in this research is
by collecting data, presenting data, reducing data and drawing conclusions/data
verification. The technique of checking the validity of the data is with the
participation step, namely the researcher makes himself one of the Kampar
Regency people who are interested in the development of tourism in Kampar
Regency itself with the intention that researchers can mingle with informants who
are in the research location. In addition, researchers also used a triangulation
technique, namely by comparing each of the informants in this study, so that
researchers could find out the reality of the truth of the data that the researchers
obtained.
Based on the results of the study, it was found that the Communication
Strategy of the Tourism and Culture Office of Kampar Regency was still not
effective, this can be proven from the result of interview with informan.
