ABSTRACT
Boiler is a closed vessel where the heat of combustion is flowed into water until hot water or steam is formed in the form of work energy. Water is a useful and inexpensive medium for transferring heat to a process. Boiler efficiency is obtained by direct method by comparing the energy supply into the boiler with the output energy produced by the boiler. In this final project, the boiler efficiency analysis was carried out using the direct method at power boiler 3 PT. RAPP. From the results of the study, it was found that the highest value was reached on January 2, 2022, which had a value of 80.69%. And the lowest value was reached on January 22, 2022, which had a value of 59.61%.
