Pengaruh Tekanan Dan Temperatur Steam Inlet Terhadap Efisiensi Turbin Generator #7 Dan Turbin Generator #8 Di Pt. Riau Andalan Pulp And Paper
ABSTRACT
To meet the needs of electrical energy for the production process. PT. RAPP manages a power plant known as Riau Prima Energi. Riau Prima Energi has built 8 turbine generator units. From these 8 turbine generators, an average of 100 MW is produced. With the amount of power that must be met, efficiency must always be maintained. Based on this background, the writer will analyze and compare efficiency, especially isentropic efficiency. Because the isentropic efficiency is the ratio of the ideal work to the actual work of the turbine. This research was conducted by analyzing secondary data and primary data, which were obtained from process engineers and ideal data for turbine generator #7 and turbine generator #8. The results of processing and analysis can be seen that the isentropic efficiency of the ideal data of turbine generator #7 is 66.98% and turbine generator #8 is 93.58% then from the operational data of turbine generator #7 has an average efficiency of 56.42% with the highest efficiency of 56.78% and turbine generator #8 has an average efficiency of 70.68% with the highest efficiency of 72.41%. From the results of this analysis, actual conditions with ideal conditions cannot be compared because the turbine generator which is conditioned in actual conditions is a combination of an overall design that is adapted to the needs of medium pressure steam (MP) and low pressure steam (LP) for use in the mill process area. Factors that affect variations in pressure and temperature can be caused by changes in pressure by the governor, changes in temperature by the desuperheater, factors from disturbances in the boiler that produce varying steam, and also the quality of steam.
