Analisis Defect Pinholes Pada Mesin Ci-Flexo Di In House Packaging

ABSTRACT
The development of the pulp and paper industry requires business actors to continue to improve the competitiveness of their products. Competition among companies is measured by the level of company productivity. Therefore, one solution is to open In House Packaging. In House Packaging is a department unit under the Riau Andalan Kertas business unit which is engaged in producing wrappers in the form of wrappers and boxes. The purpose of In House Packaging itself is to meet the demand for wrappers for the finishing department, reduce the cost of supplying wrappers from outside vendors and improve the quality of the wrappers themselves for internal use. In House Packaging applies the flexo printing technique system to produce wrappers. The production process for the CI-Flexo machine, defects are still common for production in February and March. Pinholes defects are very much found in February, reaching the highest yield on the Hard Copy A4 brand, which is 24300 meters, while in March the highest yield on the Hardcopy QTO 70 wrp brand, namely 55000 meters. In the process of making this wrapping, there are also many problems, one of which occurs due to defect pinholes, this defect occurs because the storage area for printing plates and ink storage containers is not according to the procedure.
