Pemanfaatan Limbah Organik Dan Anorganik Menjadi Pupuk Padat
ABSTRACT
Solid fertilizer is the result of the decomposition of parts or remains of plants and animals. The purpose of this research is the utilization of organic and inorganic waste, and to analyze the content of Nitrogen, Phosphorus, Potassium, and C/N ratio in the solid fertilizer produced. The manufacturing process is using chicken egg shells and kapok banana peels that have been mashed and added EM-4 into the container, and the fermentation process is carried out. Furthermore, testing of Nitrogen (N), Phosphorus (P), Potassium (K), and C/N ratio was carried out on the first day of fermentation until day 28 with variations of EM-4 15% 20% 25%. From the results of the analysis of organic fertilizers obtained, the highest nitrogen content occurred in the variation of EM4 20%, namely 1.25%, the highest phosphorus content occurred in the variation of EM4 15%, namely 0.42%, the highest potassium content occurred in the variation of EM4 15% with a level of 1, 35%, while the highest C/N ratio is found in the 25% EM4 variation with a ratio of 29.37
Keywords: EM-4, phosphorus, potassium, nitrogen, C/N ratio
