Isolasi Bakteri Asam Laktat Dari Usus Belut Sawah (Monopterus Albus) Yang Dipelihara Pada Budidaya Sistem Bioflok
ABSTRACT
Biofloc technology is one of the most profitable alternative solutions for aquaculture waste problems. The research was carried out from July to October 2021 at the Laboratory of Fish Parasites and Diseases, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine, Riau University. The purpose of this study was isolate and identify the lactic acid candidate bacteria that has the potential as probiotics from the intestines Monopterus albus and to determine the growth rate of lactic acid candidate bacteria and can press the growth of the pathogenic bacteria Aeromonas hydrophila. The method used was the experimental method treatment mere of pH 2, pH 4 and pH 6, isolation was carried out from the maintenance of M.albus in the best treatment with a stocking density of 30 fish/25 liters of water. Result shown that lactic acid candidate bacteria was found from the intestines of M.albus as much 6 lactic acid candidate bacteria isolates based on the results of physics, biochemistry and pH, the morphology of the probiotic candidate isolates consisted of one type of bacteria, namely Lactobacillus, from the 6 isolates which shows the zone of inhibition against the pathogenic bacteria Aeromonas hydropila was isolates from the intestine of M.albus intestine that which grows at pH 2 with isolate code BL 2.1.1 with an inhibition zone diameter of 9,05 mm.
