Sintasan Dan Pertumbuhan Larva Ikan Betok (Anabas Testudineus) Dengan Pemberian Moina Sp. Diperkaya Dosis Viterna Berbeda
ABSTRACT
Climbing Perch (Anabas testudineus) is a type of freshwater fish that has the potential to be cultivated fish. The fish larvae rearing has problems which low larval survival caused low nutritional content of the feed. So, it is necessary to giving Moina sp. enriched with viterna. This study aims to determined the optimum dose of viterna in Moina sp. enriched to increase the survival and growth of climbing perch fish larvae. This research conducted on April to June 2022 at Laboratory of Fish Hatchery and Breeding the Faculty of Fisheries and Marine Sciences, Riau University. The method used was One-factor Completely Randomized Design (CRD) and three treatments with three replications. The initial fish larvae in length 0.6 ± 0,005 cm and weight 0.02 g. The stocking density of larvae was 3 fishes/L. The treatment was enrichment Moina sp. with viterna used dose were D0 = dose 0 ml/L (control), D20 = dose 20 ml/L, D40 = dose 40 ml/L, and D60 = dose 60 ml/L. The results showed that the giving of Moina sp. which enriched with different doses of viterna affects survival rate and growth of climbing perch larvae. The best treatment was D60, which absolute weight growth was 0.47 g, the specific growth rate was 8.01%/day, the absolute length growth was 2.64 cm, and the survival rate was 93.33%. The water quality parameter values obtained including temperatures of 26-29.1ºC, pH 6.3-7.1, and DO 5.3-6.2 ppm.
