Adsorbsi Zat Warna Textile Rhodamin-B Menggunakan Fe-Cns (Carbon Nanosphare) Dari Nira Tebu
ABSTRACT
The development of the textile industry is quite rapid in Indonesia, the rapid development of this industry will also be accompanied by increasing pollution. One of the dyestuffs that are often used in the textile industry is Rhodamine-B dyestuff, Rhodamine-B compounds have water-soluble properties However, this compound is dangerous if it is directly exposed to the skin, eyes or digestive system. Currently, the use of adsorbents from organic matter (carbon nanosphare CNS) has been widely developed because of its environmentally friendly and non-toxic properties This research uses Fe CNS as an adsorbent in the adsorption of dye Rhodamin B. Fe CNS is synthesized with a source of carbon water of sugarcane juice and metals FeCl2 and FeCl3 in an autoclave / Teflon lined- reactor, a solid produced in activation with 1 M NaCl. Fe CNS produced in characterization using FTIR analysis. peaks of 1700 cm-1, 1600 cm-1 and 600 cm-1 indicate the presence of C=O, C=C and Fe-O groups indicating successful synthesis of Fe CNS. FeCNS material can adsorb Rhodamine-B with an effectiveness of 71.37 % at a concentration of 10 ppm Rhodamine-B, 0.03 gr / ml.
