Strategi Adaptasi Nelayan Selama Pandemi Covi-19 Di Kelurahan Bagan Barat Kecamatan Bangko Kabupaten Rokan Hilir Provinsi Riau

Abstract
This research was carried out in September 2022 which took place in Bangliau Hasan, Bagan Barat Village. The purpose of this research is to analyze the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic and fishermen's adaptation strategies. The Covid-19 pandemic is an event that spreads a disease that is very quickly contagious and deadly. The ongoing Covid-19 outbreak is expected to have a negative impact on the community, especially the capture fisheries business which consists of fishermen and marketing of fish products. The ongoing Covid-19 pandemic has forced fishermen to implement strategies to adapt in order to survive during the difficult times of the pandemic. Bangliau is a warehouse or place to sell fish for fishermen who have just returned from sea. In Bagan Barat Village, there are several Bangliau which are used by each fisherman as a place to sell their catch and already have their own sales place. One of the largest Bangliau in Bagan Barat Village is Bangliau Hasan where in Bangliau Hasan there are two types of fishermen, namely individual fishermen with a one day fishing system and labor fishermen who work based on predetermined trips. The method used is the case study method. The informants in this study were obtained from key informants, regular informants and additional informants. The data in this study were obtained by conducting direct observation and documentation interviews. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the impact of the Covid19 pandemic experienced decreased productivity, decreased fish prices, changes in sea distance and closing exports. The adaptation Active adaptation carried out by fishermen are in the form of encouraging/empowering family members, looking for additional work in both the fishery/non-fishery sector, and increasing working hours. While the passive adaptation strategy is to make savings such as consuming affordable side dishes, prioritizing buying food needs, reducing smoking, delaying buying furniture.
