Analisis Pengaruh Daya Dan Variasi Bahan Bakar Campuran Oli Bekas Dan Pertamina Dex Terhadap Emisi Gas Buang Pada Mesin Diesel Modifikasi
ABSTRACT Industrial growth and the increasing number of transportation causes the need for oil to increase. The increasing need for oil is directly proportional to the waste produced, namely used oil. The use of used oil waste is an environmentally friendly and renewable alternative fuel. This study uses a mixture of used oil and Pertamina Dex fuel which is used as fuel in analyzing exhaust emissions produced by modified diesel engines. The research was conducted by varying the percentage of the mixture of used oil and Pertamina Dex, namely the percentage of a mixture of P10 (90% used oil and 10% Pertamina Dex), P20 (80% used oil and 20% Pertamina Dex) and P30 (70% used oil and 30% Pertamina Dex). The calorific value of the fuel mixture and exhaust emissions were analyzed by varying the power load at idle (0 W), 1,000 W and 2,000 W. The test results were analyzed using Microsoft Excel with output in the form of a graph of emission levels issued by diesel engines. The calorific values of the various fuel mixtures P10, P20 and P30 were obtained, namely 44,191 kJ/Kg, 48,648 kJ/Kg, and 50,074 kJ/Kg, respectively. The results showed that the best mixture of P30 at a loading power of 0 W produced CO emissions of 0.03%, CO2 of 2.32%, HC of 34.86% and opacity of 21%. The results of the research have met the quality standards in accordance with the Regulation of the Minister of Environment Number 05 of 2006 concerning Thresholds for Exhaust Emissions of Old Motorized Vehicles where the resulting opacity emissions do not exceed 40%.
