Abstract
The Giant Gourami (Osphronemus gouramy, Lac) is one of the important fishery commodities because it has high economic value, delicious meat taste and high nutritional content. The purpose of this research was to determine the best stocking density and the feeding rate on the growth and survival of giant gourami larvae. This research carried out in March-May 2022, at the Fish Hatchery and Breeding Laboratory, Faculty of Fisheries and Marine of Riau University. This research method was experiment using a Completely Randomized Design with two factors and three replications. The first factor is Stocking Density of larvae with three treatment each, (2 fish Lˉ¹, 4 fish Lˉ¹ and 6 fish Lˉ¹). The second factor is the Feeding Rate with two levels each, 40% and 60%.
