Abstract
This study aims to identify the consumption patterns of fishing households in Panipahan Darat Village and identify what factors influence the consumption patterns of fishing households in Panipahan Darat Village. This study was conducted in May 2022 in Panipahan Darat Village, Pasir Limau Kapas Sub-District, Rokan Hilir Regency. This study used a survey method, while the determination of respondents using a purposive sampling technique was measured using the Slovin formula which obtained 93 respondents. Based on the results of this study, the consumption pattern of fishing households in Panipahan Darat Village shows that food consumption is more dominant, which indicates that fishing households in Panipahan Darat Village are not prosperous. And partially income has an effect on consumption patterns while age and number of household members have no significant effect on consumption patterns. Simultaneously the variables of income, age and number of household members have a significant effect on consumption patterns.
