Evaluasi Dan Perencanaan Sistem Pengangkutan Sampah Di Kecamatan Bukit Raya Kota Pekanbaru
ABSTRACT
Waste management of a city aims to serve the waste generated by residents. The current condition of solid waste management is facing a lot of pressure due to the increasing number of waste generators and sources. Therefore it is necessary to do waste management, one of which is waste transportation. The purpose of this research is to evaluate waste transportation and provide planning regarding waste transportation in Bukit Raya District. The results showed that the District of Bukit Raya uses an indirect transportation system with a percentage of transported waste services that is equal to 60%. This figure is not in line with the Minimum Service Standards (SPM) target. The longer the distance traveled in a route, the longer it takes. The total time used to transport garbage per trip is 3.377 hours/trip, with an average of 1 trip/day and an average off route time of 0.262 with an off route factor of 0.032. Based on this, it is necessary to plan a transportation system in the form of changing routes, adding TPS and adding garbage collection vehicles. The need for garbage transport vehicles at the end of the planning period is 6 units of dump trucks with a capacity of 7 m3, 1 unit of armroll trucks with a capacity of 10 m3.
