Komposisi Hasil Tangkapan Jaring Bawal Pada Waktu Siang Dan Malam Hari Diperairan Pulau Rupat Provinsi Riau
ABSTRACT
Darul Aman Village is a village in the Rupat Island sub-district, Bengkalis Regency and one of the commonly used fishing gears is pomfret nets. The aim of the study was to determine the differences in the catch composition of pomfret nets operated during the day and at night in Darul Aman village. This research was carried out in September 2021 in Darul Aman Village, Pulau Rupat District. The method used is the survey and literature and analysis methods used for hypothesis analysis t-test and chi-square test. From the results of this study it was found that there were differences in catches, where the catches made at night totaled 292 heads weighing 245.4 kg more more than during the day which amounted to 221 tails weighing 94.2 kg. The dominant catch species during the study were white pomfret (Pampus argentius), black pomfret (Parastromateus niger) and happy (Polynemus sp) which were the main catch targets weighing 78.7 kg and 133 individuals at night 46.4 kg and 79 heads during the day. The t-test showed that there were differences in the number of catches during the day and at night and the chi-square test showed that there were differences in the catch composition of pomfret nets operated during the day and at night.
