Komposisi Hasil Tangkapan Pada Alat Tangkap Pengilar Di Desa Kesuma Kecamatan Pangkalan Kuras Kabupaten Pelalawan

Abstract
Pengilar is one of the trapping gears whichis themain fishing gear by fisherman in Kesuma Village. The purpose of this study was to determine the composition of the cacthes of the fishers by carrying out two treatments using bait and not using bait. This research it will be held ini August 2021 in Kesuma Village, Pangkalan Kuras District, Pelalawan Regency, Riau Province. The method used is the experimental fishing and the survey method. The analysis used by calculating the main catch and by-catch levels and using Uji-t hypothesis analysis. From the results of this study, the catches of the fishing gear were 5 types of fish with a total catch of 681 ecots with a total weight of 42335 grams. Among the 5 types of fish, 2 of them namely baung fish (Mystus nemurus) and jamis fish (Ompok hypopthalamus) were the main catches with total of 254 individuals and a weight of 23630 grams. While the bycatch vainu pond fish (Helostoma temmincki), sepat fish (Trichogaster pectoralis) and red eye fish (Puntius orphoides) have a total of 427 individuals and weight 18705 grams. If you look at the catches based on the treatment of fish cacthes, it tends to be more for the fisher who use bait, namely 412 fish and a weight of 28118 grams, while the fishers without bait (control) get 269 fish for catches and a weight of 14220 grams. Uji-t shows that there is a difference in the number of yields catch on using bait and not using bait (control).
