Pengaruh Pola Asuh Orang Tua Terhadap Karakter Peduli Sosial Anak Umur 5-6 Tahun Di Desa Segati Langgam Kabupaten Pelalawan

This study aims to determine the effect of parenting style on the socially
caring character of children aged 5-6 years. The research location Segati
Village, Langgam District, Pelalawan Regency. And the results obtained
show that there is a significant influence between parenting parents on the
social caring character of children aged 5-6 years. This study had a
population of 107 and a sample of 84 respondents, with 26 boys and 58
girls with an age range of 5-6 years. This study used quantitative methods
and then processed using Microsoft Excel and SPSS version 23 using
descriptive statistical data analysis techniques and inferential statistical
analysis. The results of this study show that there is an influence between
parenting style (X) and social care character (Y). The better the parenting
style applied to children aged 5-6 years in Segati Village, Langgam
District, Pelalawan District, the higher the level of social care character
for children in Segati Village, Langgam District. The influence of
parenting style on the character of social care is quite significant where the
effect is 44.30% with a moderate interpretation, and the remaining 55.70%
is determined by other factors that are not part of this study. This means
that the application of parenting style to children aged 5-6 years has an
influence on the character of social care in Segati Village, Langgam
District, Pelalawan Regency.
