Analisis Pengembangan Desain Kemasan Beras Sagu Dengan Pendekatan Kansei Engineering
ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to produce a sago rice packaging design that is in accordance with consumer desires using the kansei engineering method and survey method and quantitative analysis. Based on this research, 15 kansei words were selected including communicative, transparent, informative, practical, safe, light-colored, attractive, innovative, appropriate size, unique, strong, creative, distinctive, patterned and protect the product. The design elements and design sub-elements selected are based on the identification of 10 analog rice packaging samples, namely packaging materials consisting of aluminum foil and plastic, packaging labels consisting of digital printing and stickers, packaging forms consisting of standing pouches, side gusset pouches, and sachets and packaging colors consisting of many colors (>3 colors), few colors (2-3 colors) and plain. The packaging design that consumers want based on the combination that emerged from the conjoint analysis results is a packaging design with aluminum foil material, labeled with digital printing, in the form of a standing pouch, and consists of many colors (>3 colors) which describe several kansei words, namely practical, attractive, innovative, unique, creative, distinctive, and patterned.
