The formulation of the problem in this research is what are the parenting patterns of parents in building disciplined character in early childhood in the Learning Activities Studio (SKB) Pekanbaru City? This research aims to describe parenting patterns in building disciplined character in early childhood at PAUD Learning Activities Studio (SKB) Pekanbaru City. This research has 5 sub-focuses, namely 1) authoritarian parenting 2) democratic parenting 3) laissez-faire parenting 4) fathernalistic parenting 5) charismatic parenting.
Once this research is carried out, it is hoped that it will provide benefits. The benefits of this research are divided into two, namely theoretical benefits and practical benefits. It is hoped that the theoretical benefits of the results of this research will increase scientific insight, especially those related to parenting patterns in building disciplined character in early childhood in the Pekanbaru City learning activity studio. And it is hoped that the practical benefits of the results of this research will be useful for families, society and for future researchers.
This research is a type of qualitative research with a qualitative descriptive method. This research was carried out at the Pekanbaru City Learning Activities Studio (SKB) PAUD involving 11 (eleven) informants as research subjects, including 9 core informants and 2 control informants. The techniques in this research are document techniques, observation and interviews. Meanwhile, analysis in research includes data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions, and triagulation.
Based on data analysis and discussion, this research can be concluded that the parenting style of parents in building disciplined character in early childhood

at the Pekanbaru City Learning Activity Studio (SKB) PAUD has played a quite optimal role. This can be seen from authoritarian parenting, democratic parenting, laissez-faire parenting, fathernalistic parenting and charismatic parenting and the relationship between the family environment which is responsible for parenting and guiding early childhood. Where the sub-focus of authoritarian parenting, democratic parenting, laissez-faire parenting, fathernalistic parenting and charismatic parenting provides guidance, increases discipline towards children's behavior in accordance with the teachings and exemplifies good things so that children behave well. Furthermore, in building children's discipline, parents must give rewards to children when they are able to apply their discipline and support children to continue to interact well with their environment and family so that children feel safe and always happy.
