TPACK is the basis for effective teaching with technology, the pedagogical ability to use technology to teach in a constructive way. TPACK needs to be possessed by every teacher or prospective teacher because it is closely related to the four main competencies of teachers, one of which is social competence. Academic procrastination is a tendency not to start a job immediately and avoidance due to feelings of displeasure with the task and fear of failure. Academic procrastination is an attitude of irresponsibility, while an attitude of responsibility is included in social attitudes. Academic procrastination is caused by poor self-control as well as distracted attention to something more interesting, until finally they run out of time and do not complete the task. Social is an educator's ability as part of the community to communicate and associate effectively with students to students' guardians. The procrastination that students generally do is doing assignments when it is close to the deadline. Tasks are done in a hurry and in the end the end result is not good or has an impact on students' academic grades.
This research was conducted in May-December on Biology teacher
candidate students of FKIP Riau University Class of 2021 and 2022. This research uses a quantitative approach with primary data sources in the form of respondents' questionnaires. This study aims to determine, understand the level and relationship between social intelligence and self-control with academic procrastination of Biology teacher candidate students of FETT Riau University. The independent variable (X1) is Social Intelligence, X2 Self-Control and the dependent variable (Y) Academic Procrastination of Biology teacher candidates FKIP Riau University.
The results showed that the level of social intelligence of prospective Biology teachers of FETT Riau University was mostly classified as medium. The level of self-control of prospective Biology teachers of FETT Riau University is mostly classified as medium. The level of academic procrastination of Biology teacher candidates of FETT Riau University is mostly classified as medium. Procrastination can be caused by lack of social support and lack of self-control. The results showed that students were able to control themselves from actions that could hinder themselves in completing the assigned tasks.
In general, there is a relationship between social intelligence and self-
control with academic procrastination of Biology teacher candidates of FKIP Riau University. There is a negative relationship between social intelligence and academic procrastination. This indicates that if social intelligence is high, academic procrastination decreases. A negative relationship also exists between self-control and academic procrastination. If self-control is high, then procrastination decreases. The difficulty of time management, the inability of students to control themselves in making decisions and not being open about the

difficulties experienced are the main factors causing academic procrastination. Students are able to reduce the level of procrastination by exchanging ideas with friends, helping friends and managing the information obtained then considering the information how the impact for the future so that students' decisions are realized in action. Procrastination can have a significant negative impact on student academic achievement. Stalling for time in doing the tasks that must be done makes the work rushed and lacks quality. As a result, the work done gets a grade that does not reflect its true potential.
