Pendugaan Potensi Lestari Ikan Cakalang (Katsuwonus pelamis) yang didaratkan Di Pelabuhan Perikanan Nusantara Sibolga, Provinsi Sumatera Utara
This study aims to determine the estimation of skipjack sustainable potential (MSY), the number of allowable catches (TAC), the level of utilization and the level of effort landed at Sibolga Nusantara Fishing Port, North Sumatra within 6 years (2017-2022). This research was conducted in August 2023 at Sibolga Nusantara Fishing Port, North Sumatra Province. The research method used is survey. Primary data collection is obtained from the results of fishermen interviews to validate the data. Secondary data obtained from the Sibolga Archipelago Fishing Port of catch production and fishing trips obtained from logbooks that support research. From the results of the study it was found that the results of the analysis of the sustainable potential catch (MSY) of 14,476 tons and F-opt of 1,425 trips per year with data from 2017-2022 can be said to almost exceed the MSY value limit but have not reached the overfishing category. The average value of the level of utilization of skipjack fish in 2017-2022 was 87%. where the level of utilization of skipjack fish resources
