Pengaruh Pembelajaran PPKn Terhadap Kesadaran Hukum Pada Siswa SMP Negeri 1 Batu Hampar

This research is motivated by phenomena that occur in fact at SMP Negeri 1 Batu Hampar which shows that there are still many students who violate school rules, namely smoking, fighting with friends, breaking chairs in class and often not coming to school if it is stated that there are still 20 % of students who violate the rules and regulations at school, this is a manifestation of the low level of legal awareness within these students. This phenomenon shows that the facts that occur in the field do not match the ideal conditions that should occur. Therefore, researchers are interested in conducting research with the title The Influence of PPKn Learning on Legal Awareness in Students at SMP Negeri 1 Batu Hampar.
The formulation of the problem in this research is whether there is an influence of PPKn learning on legal awareness among students at SMP Negeri 1 Batu Hampar. The aim of this research is to determine the influence of PPKn learning on legal awareness among students at SMP Negeri 1 Batu Hampar. The practical benefit of this research is that it is hoped that this research will be useful for schools, PPKn teachers, students and researchers related to understanding the influence of PPKn learning on legal awareness in students. The theoretical benefit in this research is that it becomes a source of knowledge and supports theories related to the field. education and provide contributions related to scientific work regarding the Influence of Civics Learning on Legal Awareness in Students at School.
The method in this research is associative quantitative with causal relationships and produces statistical data. The data collection instrument uses a questionnaire consisting of 35 questions. The population in this study was 320 people and the sample taken in this study was 25% of the total population to 80 respondents consisting of classes VII, VIII and IX using the Proportional Random Sampling technique. The data analysis used is normality test, linearity test, hypothesis test (F test), coefficient of determination test (R Square), correlation coefficient test (R count) and simple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of research on the influence of PPKn learning on legal awareness among students at SMP Negeri 1 Batu Hampar, it can be concluded that there is an influence of PPKn learning on legal awareness among students at SMP Negeri 1 Batu Hampar.
This can be proven from the F test, it is known that there is a significant influence between variable (X) Civics Learning and variable (Y) Legal Awareness. This is proven by the results of the F test calculation of 30.768, while the F table is 3.96 at a significance level of 5%, which means that Ha is accepted. And the result of calculating the correlation or relationship value (R count) is 0.532. From the SPSS output, a coefficient of determination (R Square) of 0.283 is obtained which is expressed in percentage, namely 28.3%, so it can be concluded that there is an influence of variable X on variable Y, namely 28.3% and the remainder is 100% - 28.3 % = 71.7% influenced by other factors. Apart from that, the regression equation Y = 41.629 + 1.064 then the Legal Awareness of students will increase by 1,064. The coefficient is positive, meaning that PPKn learning (X) has a positive effect on legal awareness (Y).
