Keanekaragaman Teripang (Holothuroidea) Di Perairan Desa Kelombok Kecamatan Lingga Kabupaten Lingga
This research aims to diversity of sea cucumber species found in the waters of Kelombok
village, Lingga Regency. This research was conducted from January to February 2024. The
method used was a survey method, using line transects, where quadrants were placed
randomly at the research location, and sampling points were determined by purposive
sampling in 2 zones (supralittoral zoning and littoral zoning). The results of the research
found that there were 3 types of sea cucumbers, namely (1) Getah sea cucumbers (H.
vacabunda), (2) black sea cucumbers (H. leucospilota), and (3) Chocolate sea cucumber (S.
variegatus) . Based on the density level, the highest density was found in station 2 (8,3
ind/m2), highest density was found in station 2, lowest densuty in station 3 (0,6 ind/m2).
Meanwhile, the highest diversity is at station 1 (H’ 0.654), and the lowest diversity is at
station 3 (H’ 0.553). The highest dominance index is found in the H. vacabunda type (C
0.391) and the lowest dominance index is (C 0.015). Furthermore, the distribution pattern of
sea cucumbers in the waters of Kelombok Village is known to be clustered.
