Hubungan Learning Loss Dan Self Regulated Learning Siswa Sman 4 Pekanbaru Pada Materi Virus

This research aims to determine the level and relationship of learning loss and SRL of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru students on virus material. The type of research is descriptive quantitative using survey method. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMAN 4 Pekanbaru who chose biology subject. The research sample obtained was 59 students. The research parameters measured in this study include: Knowledge, Understanding, Skill, and Interest for learning loss variables and Forethought and Planning, Performance Monitoring, and Reflection on Performance for SRL. The research instruments used were questionnaire sheets and interview guidelines for learning loss and SRL. The questionnaire data analysis technique used Spearman correlation test and linear regression test. The questionnaire data was analyzed descriptively. The results showed that learning loss that occurred in students of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru was in the moderate category (2.739). The overall SRL ability of SMAN 4 Pekanbaru students is also at a moderate level (2.675). There is a relationship between learning loss and SRL, where the higher the learning loss, the lower the students' SRL ability.
