Isolasi Dan Uji Antibakteri Senyawa Metabolit Sekunder Dari Ekstrak Kloroform Pada Tanaman Paku Drynaria Sparsisora
Drynaria sparsisora commonly known as Langlayang fern, is a member of the Polypodiaceae family, typically found in swamps and dense forests. This fern species is characterized by short black fibers covering its rhizome, which has a hard texture. Its leaves display a light green underside and a dark green upper side. This study aimed to isolate secondary metabolites from chloroform extracts of D. sparsisora and evaluate their antibacterial efficacy using the microdilution method against Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus subtilis, Salmonella typhimurium, and Vibrio alginolyticus. The isolation process involved maceration using methanol as a solvent, then partitioning with n-hexane, chloroform, and ethyl acetate. The chloroform extract underwent separation via vacuum liquid chromatography (VLC) to yield eight main fractions, which were initially impure.
