Optimalisasi Bandwidth Sistem Jaringan Internet Dengan Metode Monte Carlo Pada Smk Muhammadiyah 2 Pekanbaru

Muhammadiyah 2 Vocational School Pekanbaru is one of the private schools in Pekanbaru which continues to develop towards becoming a leading school in Pekanbaru. The large number of students and teacher employees causes internet restrictions on users. IT administrators need to calculate the bandwidth allocation that can be allocated per user. The Monte Carlo method is a mathematical method that can calculate the amount of bandwidth allocation by calculating the probability distribution, cumulative probability, which will then get random numbers that can determine the results in allocating bandwidth to users. In this research, mathematical calculations will be carried out to determine bandwidth allocation, which has never previously been applied to distribute bandwidth speeds evenly. Bandwidth speed trials are also carried out based on predetermined user groups and bandwidth. Based on the bandwidth speed trial in this research, it was carried out by downloading a 50 MB file using user T.A 2022/2023 with a bandwidth speed of 47 Kbps. Estimated download time is around 16 minutes 1 second.
