Sistem Pakar Diagnosa Penyakit Pada Anak Menggunakan Metode Certainty Factor Berbasis Web

Diseases in children can occur because the child's immune system is still not perfect, so children are very susceptible to viral diseases. There are many diseases in children, but the common diseases that children often experience are tonsillitis, impetigo, worms, diarrhea and asthma. When a child is sick, parents will immediately take their child to a health professional or specialist so that they can be treated properly. However, due to the large number of pediatric patients and the limited number of health experts, children are treated slowly so that the disease can get worse or even lead to death. To overcome this, a system is needed that can assist health experts in carrying out their duties. One type of knowledge that can be used to make it easier for health experts to carry out their duties is an expert system. In an expert system, one of the methods that can be used is the Certainty Factor method. This method could help in diagnosing the disease that occurs based on the symptoms entered so that it can produce a solution for the disease being suffered. The results of this research were in the form of an expert system with 16 symptoms, five solutions and five types of diseases in children. From the test results, it could be concluded that the system could help diagnose diseases in children and provide solutions according to the disease they are suffering from.
