Komposisi Hasil Tangkapan Bubu Naga di Perairan Desa Permai Kecamatan Rangsang Barat Kabupaten Kepulauan Meranti

This research was conducted in April 2024 in the waters of Permai Village, West Rangsang District, Meranti Regency, Riau Province. The method used in this research is the survey method, by directly observing the dragon traps fishing gear and participating in fishing activities in the morning (08:00-12:00 WIB) and day (12:15-16:15 WIB) of ten days. The aim of this study is to determine the differences in quantity and composition of bubu naga fishing catches in the morning and day in the waters of Permai Village. The research results showed that the catch in the morning weighed 11.64 kg with a total of 1,282 individuals, while in the afternoon it weighed 7.675 kg with a total of 1,024 individuals. The highest catch in the morning was white shrimp (Litopenaeus sp) totaling 5.06 kg (821 individuals), and the lowest catch was gulamah fish (Johnius amblycephalus) totaling 0.95 kg (8 individuals). Meanwhile, the highest catch in the day was white shrimp (Litopenaeus sp) totaling 3.92 kg (674 individuals), and the lowest catch was gulamah fish (Johnius amblycephalus) totaling 0.42 kg (3 individuals).
