Pengaruh Minuman Mengandung Kafein Dalam Kopi Rasa Sayang Terhadap Daya Tahan Kardiovaskular Pada Atlet Bulutangkis PB KKNP Umur 15-16 Tahun
Caffeine is the most commonly consumed addictive substance in Indonesian society today. Caffeine has been shown to be an effective way to increase endurance, especially in sports that require high endurance, such as marathons and sprints, or a combination of endurance and strength, such as badminton. In this case, the purpose of this study was to determine the effect of using caffeine in coffee on cardiovascular endurance before training. This research is a Quasi-experimental. The samples used in this study were badminton athletes aged 15-16 years with a total sample size of 10 participants. The data collection technique was carried out using the test method, namely pretest and posttest to collect data using the Bleep Test. Furthermore, coffee treatment was given 1 hour before the 15-minute running exercise. While the data analysis technique uses a different hypothesis test independent samples t-test with a significance level of 0.05. Based on the t-test with test criteria at the level = 0.05 obtained Based on the analysis conducted, the t-count value of the coffee group showed 6.567753 and the t-count value of the group without giving coffee showed 6.04372 with t-table 2.131. The result of this study is that the results of the experimental group given coffee are more influential than the control group without being given coffee, thus indicating that the provision of caffeine before exercise can increase the pulse rate and respond maximally when entering 1 hour before exercise.
