Cara Guru Mendisiplinkan Anak Tunarungu Di SLB Negeri Pembina Kecamatan Tenayan Raya Kota Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine and analyze how teachers discipline deaf children at SLB Negeri Pembina, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru. This study has 2 indicators, namely 1) time discipline, and 2) behavior discipline. After this study is conducted, it is expected to provide benefits, the benefits of this study are divided into two, namely theoretical benefits and practical benefits. The theoretical benefits of the results of this study are to increase insight and knowledge, especially those related to how teachers discipline deaf children at SLB Negeri Pembina, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru. While the practical benefits of the results of this study are expected to provide benefits for researchers, for SLB Negeri Pembina Pekanbaru and for further researchers. This study is a type of descriptive research using a qualitative approach. This research was conducted at SLB Negeri Pembina, Tenayan Raya District, Pekanbaru City, involving 6 (six) informants as research subjects. The data collection techniques in this study are documentation, observation and interviews. While the analysis techniques in this study are data collection, data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and triangulation. Based on the formulation of the problem, objectives and indicators of the study, the results of the study were obtained, namely: 1) Time discipline, teachers apply a structured approach in enforcing time discipline. They utilize consistent schedules, time reminders, and strict supervision during class hours. This helps create a structured framework for deaf children in organizing their learning activities, and 2) Discipline of behavior, teachers also enforce clear and consistent rules and provide direct guidance and appropriate sanctions when children break the rules. Discipline of behavior is an important aspect in forming good character and attitudes in deaf children.
