Optimisme Guru Tk Dalam Pembelajaran Di Taman Kanak-Kanak Kecamatan Payung Sekaki Kota Pekanbaru
This study aims to determine the level of teacher optimism in implementing learning in Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City. The type of research is descriptive research using a quantitative approach. The population of this study was 153 kindergarten teachers in Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City. The sampling method used was Cluster Random Sampling. So, the sample in this study was 110 kindergarten teachers in Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City with a 5% error rate using the Slovin formula. Data collection methods in this study were observation, documentation, and questionnaires. The research instrument went through the following stages: 1) reviewing all theories related to the research variables, 2) compiling indicators of these variables, 3) compiling grids, 4) compiling statement items and determining measurement scales, 5) testing statements, 6) and analyzing statement items by testing validity and reliability. Based on the conceptual definition, the indicators of optimism in this study are 1) positive thinking, 2) having strong hopes, 3) finding new inspiration, 4) trying to achieve good results, 5) and being able to overcome problems. The data in this study were analyzed using descriptive statistical data analysis. Based on the results of the data analysis, it was obtained that the level of optimism of kindergarten teachers in Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City had a high level of optimism with a percentage of 62.7%, while the level of optimism of kindergarten teachers was low with a percentage of 13.36%, and the level of optimism of kindergarten teachers who were moderate had a percentage of 23.7% which means that the level of optimism of kindergarten teachers is quite high in line with the purpose of this study, namely to determine the level of optimism of kindergarten teachers in Payung Sekaki District, Pekanbaru City.
