Rancang Bangun Aplikasi Pemesanan Tiket Travel (Tripvel) Berbasis Android Menggunakan Metode Extreme Programing
The application of information technology in the transportation industry continues to evolve, including online ticket booking through mobile applications. Manual systems often face issues such as data inaccuracies and delays in information, which can disrupt the ticket booking process. This study aims to develop the Tripvel application, designed to facilitate customers in booking travel tickets and assist travel agencies in efficiently managing bookings through an integrated system using the Extreme Programming (XP) method. The XP method was chosen for its adaptability and speed in development, yielding high-quality software. Data for this research was collected through interviews with travel agents and users to understand their needs and existing problems, which were then applied to the application's development. System testing methods included alpha and beta testing. Alpha testing utilized black-box testing with valid results for functionality, while beta testing employed User Acceptance Testing (UAT). The beta testing results indicated a user satisfaction rate of 77% and a travel partner satisfaction rate of 84%, particularly in terms of ease of use and feature reliability. The Tripvel application has proven to enhance business efficiency by automating ticket bookings and improving the operational processes of travel agencies. The implementation of the XP method in this study has been effective in delivering software that meets user needs. This method enables flexible iterative development, intensive team collaboration, and rapid adaptation to changing requirements.
