Perencanaan Strategis Sistem Informasi Menggunakan Metode Ward And Peppard Pada Dispora Provinsi Sumatera Barat

The Youth and Sports Agency of West Sumatra Province, abbreviated as DISPORA, is a regional government work unit responsible for promoting development in the youth and sports sector. DISPORA has been independent and separate from the West Sumatra Education Office since 2012. In the current business era, agencies are required to effectively manage the benefits of information. However, DISPORA still faces limitations in strategic information system planning. This study aims to develop a technology portfolio for the applications and information already implemented by DISPORA of West Sumatra Province. The study utilizes SWOT, value chain, and PEST analyses to obtain internal and external data, as well as the McFarlan framework to illustrate the application portfolio. The results indicate that DISPORA is positioned in Quadrant III, supporting a turnaround strategy. Consequently, DISPORA should leverage opportunities, such as following national policies and collaborating with the private sector, to address internal weaknesses, including enhancing human resources capacity, strengthening partnerships, and optimizing IT. Furthermore, there are fifteen proposed information systems to be developed in the future: the West Sumatra DISPORA Website, SIDRAGON (Online Sports Data and Information System), SIMPEG (Employee Information System), SPION (Online Registration and Information System), SRIKANDI, ESPJ, SEMUD (Youth Information System), data monitoring information system, performance information system, employee mutation management information system, recruitment information system, sports facility procurement information system, sports inventory information system, asset maintenance information system, and the Sports Facility Management System application..
