Entrepreneurship is a way that involves the ability to see business opportunities then organize, manage, take risks, and develop the business created in order to gain profit. In entrepreneurship, an entrepreneur must dare to take risks in optimizing existing resources, be it material, intellectual, time, or creative abilities that he has to produce a product or business that is beneficial to himself and others. The entrepreneurial spirit has actually been possessed by every human being, but in its journey it has not been able to be realized and realized professionally due to various factors.
Entrepreneurship in the world of teenagers is increasingly found. Because teenagers are able to learn faster to create opportunities, develop and establish new businesses. Creating a business does not have to be a highly educated person, it only requires people who have determination and sincerity. To be successful and develop, motivation is needed in a person. With motivation, it can shape the mentality and do something more than the standard. In order to achieve an achievement, perseverance is needed in carrying out activities.
This study raises the issue of entrepreneurial motivation of teenagers at the Al Muqorribin Mosque in Tarai Bangun Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, with the following objectives: (1) To find out and analyze the level of entrepreneurial motivation of teenagers at the Al Muqorribin Mosque in Tarai Bangun Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency, (2) To find out and analyze the level of entrepreneurial motivation of teenagers at the Al Muqorribin Mosque in Tarai Bangun Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency based on the demographics of the respondents, and (3) To find out and analyze the contribution of each indicator of entrepreneurial motivation of teenagers at the Al Muqorribin Mosque in Tarai Bangun Village, Tambang District, Kampar Regency.
Then the type of this research is descriptive research using quantitative methods. The population in this study were teenagers of the Al Muqorribin mosque in Tarai Bangun Village as many as 35 people, and the research sample was 33 mosque teenagers. Furthermore, the data collection technique in this study was obtained by providing a questionnaire, with a trial study conducted on 20 mosque teenagers from other villages who had the same or almost the same characteristics as the Al Muqorribin mosque teenagers. The data analysis technique used in this study was descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis.
The results of the study found that: (a) Based on descriptive analysis, the level of entrepreneurial motivation was obtained with a mean of 3.83 which is in a high interpretation. And the results of descriptive analysis based on each indicator are also classified as high with an overall mean value of 3.83. (b) Based on the analysis of demographic factors of respondents' entrepreneurial motivation for mosque youth, high results were obtained with a mean of 3.82, this proves that demographic factors (gender, age, and education) can determine the high and low levels of entrepreneurial motivation, and (c) Then the contribution given by each indicator of entrepreneurial motivation is classified as low, this can be seen from the large contribution given, namely 14%, this means that there are still other indicators besides the indicators in the study.
