Rekrutmen Calon Legislatif Berlatar Pengusaha oleh Partai Politik di Kota Pekanbaru pada Pemilihan Umum Tahun 2024

The aim of this research is to analyse the implementation of recruitment process carried out by the political parties Golkar, Perindo, Nasdem and PKS for entrepreneurs who are legislative candidates in Pekanbaru City 2024. The theory used is the implementation of candidate recruitment by political parties according to Pippa Norris (Harris et al., 2006) consisting of the certification stage, nomination stage, and election stage. This research used a descriptive qualitative approach.
The research showed the recruitment process carried out by the political parties Golkar, Perindo, Nasdem, and PKS was carried out openly, following the systematics that apply to each party. Registration for each party reached more than 100% of the number required for the party to be registered with Pekanbaru City General Election Commission. The dominance of entrepreneurs who become legislative candidates with the hope of easily gaining public support, however this does not have a significant effect on achieving victory. Internal factor owned by entrepreneurs, religious norm and self-values of entrepreneurs, financial resources, and motivation of legislative candidates with entrepreneurial backgrounds are the internal faktors for political parties recruiting entrepreneurs. Meanwhile, for the external faktor include are mass support from legislative candidates with entrepreneurial backgrounds and the condition of political changes.
