Impelementasi Model Contextual Teaching And Learning Berbasis Global Citizenship Untuk Meningkatkan Pemahaman Konsep dan Keterampilan Berfikir Kritis Siswa SD Pada Kurikulum Merdeka
This study aims to analyze the implementation of the contextual teaching and learning model based on global citizenship to improve elementary school students' conceptual understanding and critical thinking skills in grade V of the Social Sciences subject. Contextual teaching and learning based on global citizenship because it can be related to everyday life as a citizen. The research method used is experimental research Pretesttt-Posttest Kontrol Group Design. This design involves 2 classes, namely the experimental class that receives learning with the Contextual Teaching and Learning model based on global citizenship, while the kontrol class is the class that is given conventional learning. The data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and tests.
The results of the pretesttt scores of students' conceptual understanding in the experimental class got an average score of 60.00 and the kontrol class got an average score of 56.85 with a minimum score in the experimental class of 20.00 and a maximum score of 80.00. While in the kontrol class the minimum score obtained was 10.00 and the maximum score was 70.00. The average critical thinking ability of students was 48.83 in the experimental class with a minimum score of 10.00 and a maximum score of 70.00. While in the kontrol class the average score obtained was 55.14. With a minimum score of 30.00 and a maximum score of 80.00.
The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the contextual teaching and learning model based on global citizenship can improve students' conceptual understanding skills in Elementary Schools, namely with the t-test results showing that there is a significant difference between the pretesttt and posttest results in the experimental class with a significance value of 0.00 and an increase in the N-gain score of 0.8338 in the high category. The implementation of the contextual teaching and learning model based on global citizenship can improve students' critical thinking skills in Elementary Schools, namely with the t-test results showing that there is a significant difference between the pretesttt and posttest results in the experimental class with a significance value of 0.00 and an N-gain score of 0.6659 which is included in the moderate category. The response of teachers and students to the use of the Contextual Teaching and Learning learning model based on global citizenship is very high.
