Perancangan Sistem Absensi Berbasis Geolocation Menggunakan Metode Geofencing Dengan Integrasi Tile38 Berbasis Web
The implementation of an efficient attendance management system is crucial for monitoring lecturer presence in academic institutions. This study focuses on developing a geolocation-based attendance system that integrates geofencing technology and Tile38 implementation at Bina Widya Campus, University of Riau. The primary objective is to streamline the attendance process by eliminating the need for manual sign-ins at departmental offices while providing administrators with robust tools for managing attendance data and leave requests. The development methodology encompasses the design and implementation of essential features, including secure authentication, automated attendance recording, leave management, lecturer data administration, and user account control. System validation was conducted through comprehensive black box testing to verify functionality and compliance with specified requirements. The results demonstrate that all core system components perform optimally and meet the intended specifications. This research contributes to the advancement of campus management systems by providing a structured and practical solution for attendance tracking at Bina Widya Campus, University of Riau, enhancing both efficiency and administrative oversight.
