Pengaruh Self Efficacy dan Motivasi Belajar Terhadap Prestasi Akademik dengan Moderator Lingkungan Belajar
Student success in academics is measured through academic achievement. This can be reflected in the Grade Point Average (GPA), which reflects achievement throughout the study period. Although the average class shows a high GPA, in fact it does not guarantee that every individual in the class will have a GPA above average. There are still students who have a GPA below average due to various factors that affect individual academic achievement. Some of them come from learning environment factors, learning motivation and self-efficacy.
This study aims to determine the effect of self-efficacy and learning motivation on academic achievement with learning environment as a moderator. The research approach used is quantitative research. The research instrument used is a research questionnaire. A total of 114 respondents were selected using probability sampling techniques with stratified random sampling. The data that has been collected is then analyzed using a descriptive quantitative approach, then a classical assumption test and a moderation regression test (MRA) are carried out to determine the effect before and after the moderating variable.
Based on the results of the study, it shows that self-efficacy has an effect on the academic achievement of economic education students at UIN Suska Riau. This shows that with a high level of confidence, the ability to manage learning time and the ability to learn from mistakes can affect the level of academic achievement. Learning motivation affects the academic achievement of economic education students at UIN Suska Riau. This shows that high motivation to study the lessons given can affect academic achievement. The learning environment is able to moderate self-efficacy towards academic achievement. This shows that the learning environment is able to strengthen self-efficacy (self-confidence) to be able to improve academic achievement. A good learning environment is able to provide positive encouragement so that it can create a healthy learning atmosphere and increase student confidence in the learning process to achieve academic achievement. The learning environment is able to moderate learning motivation towards academic achievement. This shows that the learning environment is able to increase learning motivation, where a healthy and productive learning environment is able to increase the spirit of learning, is able to encourage the desire for maximum results so that it encourages improving academic achievement.
