Learning efforts at school are often a way for teachers to overcome problems in the classroom. One of these efforts is to apply an appropriate learning model to the characteristics and learning problems. The problem based learning model used in this research aims to increase students' active learning time at Telkom Pekanbaru Vocational School. The type of research used was classroom action research with procedure II cycle for class XI at SMK Telkom Pekanbaru, totaling 25 students. The instrument in this research was Academic Learning Time Physical Education (ALTP-PE). The results of the research show an increase when seen from the average of the pretest and cycle I and cycle II, however the increase that occurs is not so significant or high with the cooperative learning model showing that the active learning time of individual students has increased.
